Innovative Approaches for Mountain Communities
SPECIAL EVENTS PLANNING + EXECUTION
With unique experience working on visionary events that span the genres of music, sport, arts and community celebrations, Mountain Strategies can help re-envision special events or develop new events and sponsorships in innovative ways to help your organization thrive.
Scott Robson has built a reputation for his ability to collaborate with the business community, nonprofits, artists, athletes and community members to build memorable local and national events across Colorado. With his first event production, a local 5k running race in the Boulder, Colorado area, Scott’s experience in event planning grew quickly with the opportunity to be a part of Denver Mayor Hickenlooper’s Democratic National Convention Planning Team in 2008. He has co-hosted the UIAA World Ice Climbing Finals in Civic Center Park Denver partnering with the American Alpine Club (AAC) and Denver Sports Commission which drew crowds of 25,000 over two days, the largest attendance in the sport’s international history. He founded the Evergreen WinterFestival partnering with Red Bull, led the annual Independence Eve fireworks and concert with the Colorado Symphony in Denver with 90,000 attendees, and has worked closely with artists and managers at venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheatre in Vail and the Telluride Town Park Stage, home to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Blues & Brews and dozens of world class film and cultural events.
Mountain Strategies can add critical bandwidth to your organization as a thought leader and team member. We help work through design challenges, security and operations, sponsorships, and development of new partnerships to help improve upon the special events that are often the fabric and economic engine of small mountain communities.
